Last weekend I took the little jaunt back to my hometown of Los Alamos. My sister and her husband were there for a wedding so I took the chance to have all three of my parents children home at the same time. Friday night we all went to a Tim O'Brien concert at the soccer complex I used to play on as a child. It's nice to know there are still free Friday night concerts there and they're even better now. There was a kite festival going on that weekend in the same place, so the late-evening air was full of flying kites of all shapes and sizes.

We celebrated a late Mother's Day with my Mom and just had a nice time with everyone home. I even got my sister, who recently got her motorcycle license in order to ride her Vino 125 scooter, to take the big, scary Adventurer 900 around the block.

Now I'm back in Farmington, where Troy Turner has returned to take the helm of the Daily Times once for the second time and I only have a little over a month left. Hope everyone is doing well out there and I won't be so lazy and will write more.
Yes, thank you for coming home and making it a perfect weekend. Everything was great!
