I regret nothing

Last night I rode up to Durango to see No Regrets, a ska band from Las Cruces, at Steamworks. Lucas is friends with the band, so they let him know when they are coming to town. Lucas and Rhys (a new reporter, rhymes with 'fleece') had gone up separately so I met them there, along with some friends of Lucas' who live in Durango. The show was a lot of fun, tons of energy. It'd been long time since I've really seen a live band like that, so it was a nice change of pace. Since I was riding, I didn't drink, save a hefeweizen early in the evening that was so small it cost a dollar, but I still had to get up and dance. Somehow I managed to walk in without paying the cover charge, so I handed the trombone player a five at the end of the show. They seemed to think that was pretty cool so they gave me a little bag of stickers and pins. I'm glad to have a town like Durango nearby where we can escape occasionally and hang out in a place with a pulse.
